Okay. By now you have heard or read about the whole fiasco with the Blizzcon tickets. You know what really ticks me off? Its the people and companies that take advantage of a situation to make a little more money. Origonally the Blizzcon tickets were going for 100 bucks…US. Now you go searching for them on places like Stubhub and Ebay they are selling for 1500 to 2000 bucks. That is just FREAKING insane. Now I will say the Blizzard did impress me and say that they were able to come up with an extra 3000 tickets which they would be doing a lottery for. Now here comes the problem with this…on the Blogg cast that I have been listening to, they have been saying that anyone had a paying WoW account before the 12th of August when the tickets were announced to be sold out would be placed in a lottery to get the ability to buy 2 tickets. NOW from what I see they are clarafying it. You have to have had an active Blizard Store account to get in the drawing. Does not really matter to me but still that is a little bit of a change. I can understand it..I mean I was not going to get tickets so I really do not want to be in the drawning for a pair of them. Would be nice to be able to go but…not going to happen.

Now on too something else.

The ever poppular Blizzard Authenticator. I can never seem to log onto the Blizzard Store and get on of these damn things. They are always sold out. So on a lark I decided to head to The land of dreams. Ebay. Typed in my search “Blizzard Authenticator”.

-Ailtia – Nelf BM Hunter - has been put on permenent farm status. All I have been using him for is farming knothide and mining nodes.

Minnieu – Gnome Rogue – has hit level 60 *WOOT*. Have been running Ramps…Ramps and Ramps alot. On Thursday I went to BRD and was able to get my Lock Pick to 295 or so…only a few more then I can hit the 10-15 lockboxes that I have in the bank. Also I have almost finished my Onyxia atunement quest.

Healiefeelie – SpaceGoat Priest - has hit level 33…but there is an issue now. Seems that my tank I was leveling with has left the Guild. So I really do not know how we are going to coordenate when we are going to be able to group together and level. SO…I am REALLY thinking about changing her from holy to…can you guess…shadow. Still thinking about it. Really do not know.

Other than that…nothing much in game other than the above. Like I said I will strive to post more.

I confess…I am an ALT-aholic.I embrace this, I accept this, I LOVE this.

I logged on last night and saw the new “non” alt of Dax and started to twitch. I must start another toon. Also how neat it would be to have someone to level with for once. So I said something in Gchat and low and behold Dax was up for the idea. I have always wanted to level a priest, but for some reason I could never get them past 10th level. So I informed him that I would soon be back with a Draenei priest. Well the great Wulfa was on and asked what type of priest I would play. I informed the Wulfa that it would be a Healiefealie priest. A few minutes later…*drum roll* Healiefealie is now a member of Sidhe Devils. She is my FIRST female toon…sorry can not play a male Draenei. They just looks so…ugh…they are upside down triangles. Small at the bottom large a the top. As of right now healie is level 9 and is proud of having a meat shield…aka Dax. I will level her…Holy.

 

Per Urban Dictionary Altitis – The mental disease of making too many alts. One with altitis can’t just play one character, he/she has a need or desire to play many.

To take this definition anyone whom has more that 1 character has altitis. The more alts one has the more server the disease. Case in point I was at one time leveling 6 toons. Hunter, rogue, warlock, druid, paladin and mage. None of them at the time 70. I would say at that time I had a server case of altitis. My man Dax may need to see a doctor. I just looked and he has *cough* 11 toons on 3 different servers. 7 of them on Kael’thas. BBB I would say does not have a case of altitis. From my knowledge he has 2 level 70s and I think both have epic flight so he is now free to level a warlock. These are just a few examples, I could go on and on. I think the line between an alt and having altitis is the epic flying mount/skill.  I say that once you hit 70 then grind the 5500g for the epic flying mount (5000g for skill then 500g for mount) the toon you start playing is an alt. If you start playing another toon (or group of toons) before this you then are starting down the spiral path of Altitis.

I have been wondering about the whole account hacking that has been happening. I know that BRK has written a few entries about Security and things that he has found to help combat it. Us Firefox and have no script running. Also with the new Adobe issue you can download and run the anti-flash addon with Foxfire. Also to make sure that YOUR firewall/virus programs are all upto date.

 
Now security is a two-way street. Not only should we keep our information a secure as possible but I also think that Blizzard needs to do what they can to help protect out accounts. They mostlikely do but there is always something else that can be done. I have been doing some thinking on this and I think this may be easly resolved. Most, if not all, know that when you log onto the internet via cable, dsl, or even if you still use dial-up(shudder) you are assigned an IP address. IP addresses are managed and created by the IANA which then allocates very large blocks to Regional Internet Reg., who then allocate smaller blocks to the ISPs. There IP addresses are SPECIFIC to the ISP. If you check your IP address you will notice that really only the last 2 sets of number change on you (unless you have a Static IP). Why does Blizzard track out IPs? If they see an IP address that should not be accessing the account…kick them. Easy as pie. Well maybe not that easy but it is an idea.

I have been thinking (everyone duck and cover!) until I get more instance time with my hunter he will not run Kara. Like I have said earlier I have had almost no groups with Ailtia. I mean from 1-70 the instances that he ran were those in the outlands. The main instances he has set foot in before going to the Outlands were Deadmine, Stockades and Scarlete Monistary. With all of these I was ran through by lvl 70 guildies. SO really I have never had the real fealing that I must get to know my skills until I hit the Outlands. I really only started to started getting used to use what abilities I have recently. So right now Ailtia is on Farm status. I may even respect adding the 20 I have in Markman talent tree to Survivalist to get shorter trap Cooldown. I also need to grind 15 more stacks of thick leather and 50 stacks of knothide to send to my Rogue so I can continue to level his Leatherworking. I have also decided to respect my Rogue Full combat at this time.  Check out my new Spec!

Okay. I have a level 48 almost 49 gnome rogue whom I am going to be taking to do battlegrounds. I went yesterday with my combat swords build and while I will not say I did bad..I did not do too well either. There was a Horde rogue running around with Hemorrhage. All I can say is that once he had me…I was a gonner. So I have run and fiddled with what I need to respec to and this is what I got.

So, I was over reading my daily blogs when I saw this artical by BBB. I have to agree. Dax is a great hunter..one of the best that I have ever seen. I will say that when I first read the post I was a little hurt…but I did some thinking and while I do not suck (IMOP) I am still a few steps behind Dax. What am I going to do about this? Well i am going to stive to become better. My problem is that I have been in maybe 7-10 instances with a group period. I do not even have the heroic key for Hellfire for heaven sakes (2k rep away).

As you can see not much grouping experiance and I do not PvP. So most of what I know what to do is just send kitty in…wait for kitty to get aggro and MQoSRDPS. What can I do to make myself better. Do more instances. Plan and simple. I just have PUGs.

Sidhe Devils is a great guild…and I will be striving to make myself better.

edit – I have run Kara twice. First time with Serenity on Kargath did Opera Big Bad Wolf and the second time was 5/31 and we got to Moroes.

Again been a some time sense the last post…but thats what you get when you come here. I do have a few things that I will be posting about over the next few days so never fear.

WoW update- My main Ailtia has officially become a Bear in Sidhe Devils over on the Kael’thas US server and I love it. I have 2 alts at this time. The first is Kelric, a NE Druid whom as reached lvl 15, and my second and newest venture is Rollenn a Human Warlock at lvl 16. The Druid is going to be Feral when I play him..while the Warlock will be affliction. I love the Druid class but for some reason I have troubles with them. I have not problems leveling Warriors, Rogues, Mages, Shamans, Hunters or Warlocks well most any ohter class but for some reason after a few hours playing a Druid I just go blank and loose the will to play. *shrug* no idea why just do. I have the utmost respect for anyone that can play a Druid all the way to 70. So right now my Druid is on the bench and my Warlock is at the plate. I like it. Send in VW (VoidWalker) cast my 3 dots and then just wand away. Can keep it up forever. Quick and simple.

I did not know how many Bloggers were out there that joined Sidhe Devils. My lord there are alot. I have at one time or another actually have read their blogs and just to think that I can “talk” to them makes me giddy sometimes. I have learned one thing…they are all great and helpful people. I think I will like it here.

RL update- I have a full week of vacation comming up next week and you will never guess what I have planned…nothing…absolutely nothing. I will be infront of my PC playing games and Watching Anime. WOOT!!! LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!
